Notice on doing a good job in the review and recommendation of the 2024 Undergraduate National Scholarship and National Inspirational Scholarship

Colleges and Universities:

According to the requirements of the "National Scholarship Evaluation Measures for Junior College Students" (Teaching Finance Letter (2019) No. 105), "Measures for the Implementation of National Scholarship, National Encouragement Scholarship and National Scholarship for Undergraduate Students of Beijing Institute of Technology" (Beijing Institute of Technology (2023) No. 10) and "Beijing Institute of Technology Scholarship Management Regulations" (Beijing Institute of Technology (2017) No. 30)，Combined with the practice of our school，Notice on the review and recommendation of the 2024 National Scholarship and National Encouragement Scholarship is as follows:

1. Award quota

According to the letter of the National Student Financial Assistance Management Center of the Ministry of Education, 188 national scholarships and 471 national encouragement scholarships for undergraduates in 2024 have been allocated to our university。See Annex 1 for the allocation of National Scholarships and National Encouragement Scholarships for undergraduate students。

2. Reward objects and criteria

(1) National Scholarship

Award target: Outstanding undergraduate students in the second year or above (including the second year)。

Award standard: 8000 yuan per person per year, issued a national unified printed certificate of honor。

(2) National Inspirational Scholarship

Award object: our university full-time undergraduate grade 2 or above (including grade 2) in the character and academic excellenceFamily financial difficultiesundergraduate。

Award subsidy standard: 5000 yuan per person per year。

The national scholarship, National Encouragement Scholarship and university-level social donation scholarship assessed in the 2023-2024 academic year are not eligible for both。Recipients of the National Scholarship or the National Encouragement Scholarship are eligible for both national bursaries。The Northern Industry Scholarship selected in April 2024 is a social donation scholarship. Students who have won this scholarship cannot participate in the selection of this national scholarship, National Encouragement Scholarship and social donation scholarship of this year。

3. Application conditions

(1) National Scholarship

1.Having the nationality of the People's Republic of China;

2.Love the socialist motherland and support the leadership of the Communist Party of China;

3.Consciously abide by the Constitution and laws, abide by the rules and regulations of the university, and have no record of disciplinary violations;

4.Honest and trustworthy, good moral character;

5.Correct learning attitude，Rigorous style of study，Excellent performance，The 2023-2024 academic year (including compulsory courses and professional elective courses) has an excellent rate of more than 85%, and no passing subjects，Ranking within 10% in academic performance (inclusive)，Ranking within 10% (inclusive) in comprehensive evaluation;The ranking of academic performance and comprehensive evaluation performance did not enter the top 10%，But up to 30% (including 30%) of students，If you excel in other areas，National scholarships for undergraduate students are also available，However, it is necessary to submit detailed supporting materials，The certification materials shall be examined and stamped by the college。See Annex 2 for specific requirements;

6.Be in good health, actively participate in physical exercise and recreational activities, and meet the standards of physical education;Pay attention to personal hygiene and public hygiene, the dormitory health standards。

(2) National Inspirational Scholarship

1.Having the nationality of the People's Republic of China;

2.Love the socialist motherland and support the leadership of the Communist Party of China;

3.Consciously abide by the Constitution and laws, abide by the rules and regulations of the university, and have no record of disciplinary violations;

4.Honest and trustworthy, good moral character;

5.Good learning attitude, rigorous learning style, excellent academic performance, 2023-2024 academic year academic performance (including compulsory courses and professional elective courses) without passing subjects, academic performance professional ranking within 60% (inclusive), comprehensive evaluation professional ranking within 60% (inclusive);

6. Be in good health, actively participate in physical exercise and recreational activities, and meet the standards of physical education;Pay attention to personal hygiene and public hygiene, the dormitory health standards;

7.Family financial difficulties, living a simple life, 2023-2024 school year through the family financial difficulties students recognized。

Iv. Application and Review process

(1) Before 20:00 on September 17, students should apply

Students log into the Student Integrated Data Platformhttp://stu.britune.com/, select in the "Scholarship" moduleNational Scholarship for undergraduates和National Inspiration Scholarship for undergraduate students, fill in as required (refer to Annex 3 for operation)。

注：1.Transfer students are assessed by their school or college in the 2023-2024 academic year。

2.The content will be uploaded to the National Grant Information System for external inquiry, please ensure that all information is accurate。

3.All results must upload the supporting materials, which correspond to the submitted results one by one, and also upload the original PDF file of the 2023-2024 academic year transcript (with a special teaching seal)。The content submitted by the system will be the only material for review, please ensure that it is true and effective。

4.The first 4 achievements in "Award Situation" must be awarded in 2023-2024 academic year for submission of evaluation materials;Other awards, papers, patents, and practical results are the results of the school system and are used for school publicity。

5.The "main deeds" should reflect the students' excellent academic performance, innovation ability, social practice, comprehensive quality and other aspects are particularly outstanding, the content is comprehensive, detailed and accurate, and the word count is 200-300 words。

6. Students applying for the National scholarship are required to submit 1 photo of their personal life and more than 1000 words of personal style self-statement (word version), the article must have a clear theme, positive, and fully demonstrate their excellent deeds。

(2) Before 17:00 on September 24, the College and college shall review the relevant materials, organize the review and complete the report

1.Expert Review:Colleges and colleges shall organize expert review meetings,The candidates for the National Scholarship and the National Motivation Scholarship are determined according to the quota allocation (Annex 1) and the selection description (Annex 2)。

Note: According to the requirements of the superior unit, students with fewer than 10 majors and ranking first in academic performance and comprehensive assessment can participate in the national scholarship, and each college will choose the best according to the quota。

3.Submitted material

①Whether the total number of majors in the academic performance ranking and comprehensive assessment ranking of the same student is consistent。If not, use the "red" font to modify;

②Whether the total number of majors in the academic performance ranking and comprehensive assessment ranking of the same major in the same grade is consistent，Whether the number of required courses is consistent，If inconsistent，Please use the "red" font to modify;If the number of required courses is really inconsistent，Add a column of "remarks" to explain the situation，The written explanation (with the official seal of the department) must be submitted as the original PDF file;

(3) If the total number of students ranked in the academic performance and comprehensive assessment is less than 10, the written explanation (with the official seal of the department) must be submitted in the original PDF file;

④ If the year of enrollment reflected in the student number is earlier than 2021, the original PDF file of written explanation (with the official seal of the department) must be submitted;

⑤ All awards must be in the academic year 2023-2024, please check the date, award name, award unit, and cannot be non-award achievements。Among them, the awarding unit of national scholarship and national encouragement Scholarship is the Ministry of Education;

The EXCEL information submitted by colleges and universities will be uploaded to the National Scholarship evaluation system of the National Financial Aid Center. After successful upload, PDF file (one form for life) will be exported and sent to the contact person of student financial aid work of each unit by the Student Financial Aid Business Office through the email of the Student work platform。

(2) Paper version: Submit to Student Financial Aid Office before 12:00 on September 29 (Zhongguancun Campus: Bathroom White Building 204, Liangxiang Campus: Xuefu 203)

(3) School audit

1.The Student Financial Aid Office will organize expert review and publish it on the "Campus Announcement" section of the Student Service Center website for 5 working days。

2.If there is no objection to the publicity, it will be submitted to the school leading group for review, submitted to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Education for approval, and the award announcement will be issued after the national examination and approval。

5. Release process

(1) Scholarship issuance

The Student Financial Aid Office will arrange the distribution according to the list of winners announced by the state。The National scholarship and National Encouragement Scholarship are issued to the winning students at one time, and all funds are directly deposited into the students' Merchants bank card。Students are required to ensure that the CMB card number is recorded in the Program Finance Department。

(2) Issuance of scholarship certificates

The National Scholarship certificate is a certificate of honor printed by the state。After receiving the certificate issued by the state, the Student Financial Assistance Office will notify students to collect it through the "i Beili" APP at the first time. Students can go to the financial assistance window of the affairs hall of their campus to collect it。National Motivational Scholarship without certificate。

6. Other matters

1.Scholarship requirements

① National scholarship or national encouragement scholarship and social donation scholarship can not be both。National scholarship and national encouragement scholarship are not mutually available;

② Government Scholarships (Chinese Government Scholarship, Confucius Institute Scholarship, National Defense Science and Technology Scholarship, Hong Kong, Macao and overseas Chinese students Scholarship, etcCan be awarded in conjunction with other types of scholarships;

(3) The Xu Teli Scholarship is the highest scholarship of the school, which can only be obtained once within a school system, and can be obtained with other types of scholarships;

(4) The scholarship for outstanding undergraduate students is a general award, which is the basis for evaluating other scholarships and honors for undergraduate students, and can be awarded with other types of scholarships;

⑤ Each person can only receive one social donation scholarship per year, and cannot receive multiple social donation scholarships;

⑥ College level scholarships shall be established by each awarding college (department)。

2.The national scholarship and the National Encouragement Scholarship shall be made public，Schools and colleges should adhere to the principles of openness, fairness, justice, merit selection and appropriate tilt to military specialties，And before submitting the review list and relevant recommendation materials，The evaluation list will be publicized to all faculty and students，To prevent improper practices，Put an end to fraud。

3.Students who have won the National Scholarship and National Encouragement Scholarship should actively participate in the publicity work of the "Student Financial Aid Publicity Ambassador - National Award Financial Aid Publicity Team"。

4.Students who apply for the National Inspirational Scholarship should not only enjoy financial aid, but also consider the source of drinking water, be honest and grateful, and actively participate in volunteer service activities。Students who receive the National Motivational Scholarship automatically join the Student Service team by default。
